Program Description

Questar III's Blackboard service facilitates online communication between the school district and its teachers, staff, students and parents. Blackboard builds online education communities, enhances inter-district collaboration and provides 24/7 access to online tools and resources. Virtual Class Management allows teachers to enhance their virtual classrooms. With it, teachers can: post homework, announcements and other files; administer online tests; and, accept assignments. Also, via a secure discussion board, teachers and students can communicate with each other.

• How To Add This Service: Enroll in the service when submitting the year's Final Service Request (FSR) or join the service later by submitting a FSR amendment.
• Cost Methodology: Blackboard costs are determined by service segment. The Virtual Class Management annual cost is $206 per instructor account.There is no limitation as to how many courses an instructor account can hold
• Additional Benefits: Blackboard offers learning environment around the clock - any time, any place and at any pace.
