Questar III’s Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing service emphasizes language development and study skills for deaf/hard of hearing students in mainstream and special education programs. Certified teachers of the deaf may provide instruction in the following areas as appropriate: auditory training, speech reading and sign language, as well as consultation to administrators, teachers and parents of the students.
