TABE Entrance Exam and Testing Accommodations: When taking the entrance exam, TABE, testing accommodations are not permitted as it is a norm reference base exam. Therefore students may have lower TABE results, but score higher on the actual TASC with their accommodations. A "special modification application" must be filled out and supported by a professional diagnostician. This documentation must be current and within three years of the test dates.

Note: This program will be held at Questar III's Columbia-Greene Educational Center am/pm and at Rensselaer Educational Center am only. Classes approximately 12 students per 1 instructor and 1 teaching assistant. Students requiring more support than classroom of 12 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. These TASC classes will be taught by Special Education Teacher. When students have met the TASC pre-test criteria and have received the recommendation of the AHSEP faculty, they will be allowed to sit for the TASC exam.
