Questar III’s Online Teacher Application System (OLAS) is an online application system for educators. OLAS serves several regions in New York State. School districts within OLAS’s regions have committed to using OLAS as the primary source for filling job openings. With OLAS:
- districts may view applicant information, resumes and cover letters; and,
- candidates may apply to a specific position or grant all districts access to their information, resumes and cover letters – free of cost. Candidate files are active for one year and accessible through the candidate’s unique logon and password. During that time, a candidate may update his or her application.
OLAS is available 24/7 via the Internet and secures the applicant’s information via Verisign so it remains accessible only to those the candidate has provided access.
