Program Description

Questar III's Introduction to Food Services prepares students for entry-level positions within the food service industry. Students are engaged in academic and practical hands on lessons and learn a variety of preparation and food skills. Students will be provided with an opportunity to work in an approved commercial site during school hours.

Note: This program is held at both Questar III's Columbia-Greene Educational Center and Rensselaer Educational Center. All program classes are approximately 12 students per 1 instructor and 1 teaching assistant (12:1:1). Students who require additional assistance will be considered on a case-by-case basis
