Program Description

Questar III (R-C-G) BOCES will provide Satellite Academic Programs at host districts to be shared by surrounding school districts. Sharing the course offerings through BOCES allows a pooling of resources and helps expand curriculum choices for students. BOCES provides coordination for the program.

International Baccalaureate® World School – Greenville High School:

Questar III BOCES will contract with Greenville Central School District per Ed. Law 1950 4 h (3) and Ed. Law 1950 4 bb (3) (d) to provide academic course offerings in a specific concentration of International Baccalaureate and per Part 100 of the Commissioner's Regulations. Greenville Central School District has an approved International Baccalaureate® World School program. This will allow other districts to participate in this program that is already established. The program will be a full day program allowing students the ability to participate in classes that will lead to an IB certificate. As with all programs, the students will be provided with any and all accommodations and/or modifications according to Part 200 Regulations and any applicable laws. The first year enrollment is based on an estimated 25 students with the following districts considering participation.
