Questar III’s Environmental Support Service assists districts with complaint and compliance issues for facilities. The service offers survey and assessment of district buildings for indoor air quality issues, as well as consultation and training to school districts, school boards, staff and the community on: cleaning, sanitation, radon assessment, mold and other interior environmental issues. Districts may access a certified industrial hygienist through this service to manage necessary environmental work. The support service also provides schools with guidance in NYSDEC and USEPA requirements for above and underground petroleum storage, spill control and hazardous waste management.
