Program Description

The Program Evaluation Service flexibly meets districts' needs for grant evaluations, program assessments, or program review/audits of Pk-16 culture, climate, and programs.  The service helps districts answer specific questions about quality, effectiveness, and impact of programs.  Standards-based evaluation methods are used to identify, design, or adapt appropriate benchmarks and indicators of impact on student learning.  Sampling may include the use of surveys, focus groups, interviews, and relevant academic and non-academic data. Data collection, data analyses, data interpretation, and report writing and/or presentations are included as part of the evaluation service.

Evaluation services may include Logic Model development, and the identification of data collection methods or the design of appropriate measurement instruments, such as academic or organizational performance data, surveys, questionnaires, focus groups, and/or interviews. Evaluation includes the analysis and interpretation of quantitative data. Reports and/or presentations can be provided to those with a non-technical background to explain the findings and implications of data for program improvement and sustainability.
