Program Description

Questar III's Building Inspection Service visually inspects occupied buildings for possible structural and mechanical defects. The inspection is conducted by a certified code enforcement official or certified code compliance technician and complies with New York State Education Department annual visual inspection requirements. This inspection is conducted in conjunction with the Building Condition Survey which is required every five years to be completed by a registered architect or engineer.

• Cost Methodology: 0 - 7,999 sq ft: $ 75 per building, 200,000 sq ft: $ 550 per building, 25,000 - 49,999 sq ft: $ 275 per building, 50,000 - 199,999 sq ft: $ 450 per building, 8,000 - 24,999 sq ft: $ 180 per building, Building Inspection Service cost is based on building size:, Return and follow - up visits $87 per hour
