Program Description

Complete Asset Inventory & Audit:

Best suited for districts that do not have a recent appraisal or accurate perpetual fixed asset inventory system in place. This service creates a complete and up-to-date inventory of the district assets as well as a complete appraisal for risk management purposes.

Annual Physical Inventory Audit:

Best suited for districts with a well-maintained fixed asset perpetual inventory system. This service provides the district with qualified individuals to conduct an annual physical inventory update and to reconcile it to the perpetual fixed asset inventory reports.

Additional Information

• Cost Methodology: Cost varies based upon the size of the district (square footage of buildings) and the capitalization threshold.
• Additional Benefits: Questar III staff will be available to consult with the district on fixed asset issues, share best practices, and provide technical assistance and training to district employees.
