Product Description

In this program, instruction combines functional curriculum with community experiences, enabling students with multiple disabilities to learn adaptive living skills. All classes are taught in public schools, enhancing opportunities for inclusion in regular classes and other school activities. Students may access state-of-the-art technology and communications equipment. Active parent involvement is encouraged through ongoing communication between staff and parents. The program includes child psychiatric consultation, social work support, behavior specialist consultation, physical education or adaptive physical education, transition planning services, and access to psychology support. The program is comprised of eight students, one teacher, and one teaching assistant.

Note: Questar III’s classroom programs are full day and run September through June with an extended school year option.

Continuing students may be enrolled in the service when submitting the Final Service Request (FSR). Subsequent to formal acceptance by the Questar III Intake Committee, new students may be enrolled in

Staff salaries and benefits plus operating lines and infrastructure expenses divided by the estimated pupil enrollment equals cost per pupil.
