With Questar III’s Annual Fire Safety Inspection, a certified code enforcement official or certified code compliance technician performs fire safety inspections in conjunction with NYS Education Department and the NYS Uniformed Fire and Building Code. The certified staff is also available for consultation on code compliance regarding building projects and for required inspections involving Substantial Completion reports during capital projects.

 

Cost Methodology
Fire Inspection Service cost is based on building size:

0 – 7,999 sq ft $ 75 per building
8,000 – 24,999sq ft $ 180 per building
25,000 – 49,999 sq ft $ 275 per building
50,000 – 199,999 sq ft $ 450 per building
200,000 sq ft + $ 550 per building

If SED requires the re – inspection of a facility, the initial re-inspection visit is included the above pricing. Any return and follow – up visits thereafter may incur an additional charge of $87 per hour.”
